Death at sea
Litterpicked and upcycled lids and ring-pulls produce this piece. The idea behind it is, on first thought, the shark is the threat of death. However, the shark is simply a pile of litter waiting to plunge to the ocean floor. Humanity is the threat.
The canvas is made from recycled plastic bottles (PET fibres).
Check out the reclaimed wood version using a kitchen cupboard door.
Did you know? Only 1% of marine litter floats. Everything else sinks to the sea floor.
